Is this a Construction Zone? :) - 9/22/19

Updated: Sep 28, 2019

I always thought it was amusing when in the early days of web design and schtuff like that, there was that construction imagery that people and companies would place while things were being updated. I don't know if they still do that. "Pardon Our Dust" haha ... I haven't seen anything like it but as far as this blog goes, consider this one of those ACME CONSTRUCTION signs while I figure out all the details about blogging on this website.

I freely admit, I'm a techno-boob. I'd say noob, but I'm not new. I'm just a boob when it comes to figuring out all this techness. It's really a lot of fun and kinda intimidating when you realize all the stuff that you can do these days. If you manage it right, the days of relying on the high cost professionals are long over with. There's no way struggling artists can afford some of the fees these money-mongers are asking for. What's more, they know they can ask for them because there are a lot of people who so desperately want to make their dreams come true and are willing to take pains to do it.

I never expected all of this freedom to do as I pleased with publishing in years past. It was different. These days, it's amazing! Anyone can publish and they do. Based on the number of books out there, they do. Wow. It's kind of like that "living in a cave" joke. You know the one, when something happens, people always ask, "What, do you live in a cave?" ...

... I've always kinda hated that saying. It's rude when said in a snarky way by someone you can't stand, isn't it? Well ... anything said by someone you can't stand is snarky. They could tell you good morning and you'd hate it. lol WHAT'S GOOD ABOUT IT? :)

Anyway, my point is, I've always been just writing books and minding my own business and then one day, I decided ... hey ... I think people will really enjoy these stories. They want quality. They are tired of spending their money on crap. IS THERE ANYTHING WORSE? I don't know about you, but I HATE buying something that turns out to be such a disappointment. I never say anything, of course. I don't write a scathing review to the creator of the art and complain. I would never do that.

You never know when someone could be seriously affected by it these days. It may have taken them a lot to do it and they may feel really good about themselves to have done it and then along comes me with my complain and crappy review. No. Not my style. I tend to check the depth of that pool before I dive into it.

I made a metaphor. :) At least ... I think it's a metaphor. Yeah, pretty sure.

Imma check back with this thing soon. Hope you all don't mind reading along with my rambling thoughts, but I think it's a good way to talk to my followers and readers because I really love the goodness that I see in people. I don't know what it is about me that has always gotten the best out of people, but I'll take it and I'm very thankful for it.

That's not gonna change. No way. Goodness from others is both a blessing and a luxury in this day and age. I am thankful :)
